- Borderville, Stamford
A Stamford Chamber of Commerce Event
Thursday 12 May, 6.00-8.00pm
This evening will give you a chance to influence Stamford’s neighbourhood plan and ensure it reflects what’s needed to create sustainable economic growth for the future.
By joining us on the night you will be helping to put the needs of the business community at the heart of the vision that will shape the development and growth of the local area.
Hear from David Taylor, Chairman of StamfordFIRST, who will explain neighbourhood planning, what a neighbourhood plan will do for Stamford, and why he believes it’s so important that the business community help to shape it.
It will also be a chance to share your views with Nicholas Rudd-Jones, Chairman of StamfordFIRST’s Local Economy Group.
This group has been created by StamfordFIRST to consider potential economic drivers, identify future employment sites and identify opportunities to increase visitor numbers to the town centre through retail development and other key attractions.
As well as feeding your views and experiences into the consultation currently being undertaken by Stamford FIRST, you’ll also have an opportunity to meet members of the Planning Team from South Kesteven District Council.
This event is free to attend but to be booked in advance by calling Helen Bosett at Stamford Chamber on 01733 370809 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Refreshments will be served.
